PAINTING Dramatic Landscapes in Watercolor
In this workshop we’ll paint a dramatic lighthouse, concentrating on color harmony, creating strong contrasts, and explore using different brushes to create textures. Come prepared
to have fun, learn new things, and add to your creative vision.
Open to students of all levels of experience.

Paint mixing tray
#2 Round brush
#6 Round brush
#8 Round brush
3/4" to 1” flat wash brush
Cheap craft brushes in various sizes for masking
Ruling pen for masking if you have one. I will have available to purchase.
Bottle of Liquid Frisket
1/2 sheet 140# cold press watercolor paper stretched on gatorboard (or 300# unstretched). Stretch paper properly at least the day before class. Have some type of support for your paper to be able to paint at an angle, or a table-top easel.
One sheet gray graphite paper for tracing
Cups for water
Viva paper towels
