This painting class is designed for painters of all levels. Students may paint landscape, still life floral, etc. The basics of painting will be covered: color theory and mixing, composition, painting techniques, value and use of materials. Each student will work at their own pace and will have personal attention in each class. All should complete 2 or more original paintings. There will be demonstrations of watercolor techniques, mixed media and use of materials, discussions of realism, impressionism and other styles of painting. Demonstrations will be in acrylic because of their speed and "forgiveness"
