Sunday, January 20th - 1:00pm - 4:00pm
In this workshop we’ll paint a stunning landscape, focusing on composition, lighting, values and color. We’ll explore texturing techniques with different brushes and mediums.
Come prepared to have fun, learn new things, and add to your creative vision.
Open to students of all levels of experience.
Hookers Green or Sap Green
Dioxazine Purple or Windsor Violet
Cadmium Yellow Light
16 x 20 canvas pre-primed
Medium (walnut or lindseed)
Alkyd medium (walnut alkyd, Galkyd gel, Liquin)
Disposable gray wax palette (for oils)
Palette knife for mixing
Baby wipes for hands and clean-up
Brushes and Supplies:
#1 Round brush
#16 Angle Shader
Old brushes for texturing
Recommended but not necessary:
Scharff 1/2 Mop
3/8 Tree & Texture brush from Rosemary & Co.
If not, then a 1/2 soft wash brush for blending (Simply Simmons is good)
