We will start by an introduction to watercolor brushes, palettes, brand qualities and best practices.  We explore simple methods for understanding color mixing, understanding how to achieve the mix you want.  We will study color scales that lead to important glazing process.
We will also cover different brush strokes, how to load the brush, how to gauge water and pigment loads so you get rich sumptuous applications of color.
We explore neutrals and how valuable they are to make the rest of the painting look fantastic.
Next we cover glazing while in the process of painting a first theme subject.  We will look into scraping, salt, etc.  We will also introduce a variety of techniques to achieve the illusion of texture.  We will learn how to use photo based reference to achieve optimal results.

I will demo each lesson, and watch you, correcting problems that crop up so you can achieve maximum results in the shortest time.We will do a tools intro the first day so you can refine all of the materials list with your questions, so no worries, we can walk through and buy them at the opening of class, I will help you if you are not confident buying ahead.
