Starting we will break down a photo of a landscape and build it back up following Gordon's painting methodology. This class is designed to launch you into an understanding of the incredible choices you have using this amazing modern paint medium. We'll cover color theory, basic form construction, gray scales in process, but quickly move to composition and concentrate on skills that will improve and bring life to your acrylic painting. Composition and under glazing will be established as an important first step. A variety of mediums will be introduced as we go that can aid the flow of the paints to achieve brilliant results. We will cover how to get colors to look brighter, using many glazing and textural overlay effects.
